The season has changed, summer is coming and the print of the book 'What the mind sees, the body creates, feels and attracts' getting closer there is excitement in the air. The theme of the book is how we create biochemical change from our subconscious, the foods we eat, microbiome and our actions. Since the subconscious doesn't know the difference between what is 'real' or not and it responds to the emotional imprints created over time, the greater energy or emotional imprint, the stronger the belief we hold about ourselves, and how our life 'should' be.
The subconscious works with images and emotions. Like the squeaky wheel, or how deep ruts are created when the same track is walked on, the more frequently heard and felt messages become more ingrained they become. Emotions are anchors to the body which means the more emotion we feel around a statement, the body will work hard at recreating this feeling becuase it thinks that is what we want more of. We must want to stay there as we have anchored the feeling in our body. This process works for the positive and negative emotions, and so it is our duty to be clear as to what we do, and choose to have in our body and life. If we want more good in our life, put lots of positive feelings with affirming statements, the body will work to recreating that feeling and therefore change of physiological state. (the opposite is equally true. More we say we don't want, or we don't like etc, and we have an emotion with it, the body will work towards re-creating just what you don't want.)
To support each other in this process we have also opened a new 'closed FB group' called I am! It is a safe place to celebrate ourselves and the affirming declarations we are making to ourselves. These two words, I am, have so much power. It is said they have the ability to change the subconscious mind and therefore your physiology and biochemistry. Test it for yourself. Say a few I am statements and see how your body feels. Think about how you feel, health wise, or around foods. Where or how do you feel when you say "I am full of energy, vibrancy and health?" or "I am free of pain and loving every second of the day!"
If you feel discord, disbelief or heaviness around a statement, then this is a perfect opportunity to explore what you feel, think and believe and let go of what is trapping you in the negative. Feelings are the body's way of talking with our conscious mind and an opening into your current deeper truths. So when we feel a heaviness, or a negative' feeling or discord, it really is an invitation from your subconscious to explore and heal what is there. Get into EFT, or any other energy work to release the hold the emotion as on the body. We really do hold ourselves ransom without realising it. If you feel light and in agreement, fantastic. Keep feeling and frequently saying the statement.
Affirmations, which is basically what the I am statement is, is a tool that you can use at any time and any place. They are thoughts to create change in you and therefore the world around you. To make the statement even more powerful, put your name in the statement and it declares it to your entire being! Keep in mind, the opposite works too. The stronger 'negative' emotion you put with a negative statement, then the body will work towards re-creating that as well. It pays to be aware of what you are feeling and saying to and about yourself.
For example when you say I am willing to change, you are setting the mind and body to be open to making the steps required to be the person you are, but possibly still in hiding. The secret to making affirmations work in your favor is to feel into it with as much positivity as possible. When there is a rejection or hesitation, tap it out or get help to release the deeper fears attached.
