Health and wellness are such contentious topics without looking at why we at times fail to do what we know what we could do.  As there is no 'shoulds' in life, simply because all we do is a string of choices that we make.  Even the choices to hand our power to others to make decisions, situations and dramas is a choice not to claim your stake in the situation. I am ok with being the hornet nest disruptor here, as at times someone has to do it, and if you are in the program, you were open to being challenged and called on your issues.

There are always why as to why we don't do what is in our best interest, and in line with sabotages excuses are the front of mind reasons why we don't do what we need to do to achieve what we want to do.  With chronic disease, the reasons may be different to the more acute conditions.  When one has been ill for a long time, complacency and despair has the opportunity to move in along with a lot of other moving parts of life find their 'spot' to make life tick on.  A lot of other people become invested in the situation to make life work, however, when one person starts to reclaim themselves, there is the risk of upsetting the apple cart and disrupting the subtle lines of operations.  this is a confronting activity, so I suggest it would be good to complete when you have time to reflect and allow floodgates to open up and have true support available.  Healing doesn't happen until we get real, and align ourselves with what is actually going on.  There is no guarantee the physical ailment, illness, disease, symptoms etc will resolve and you will be physically well, free of disease and illness, what this process can open the way to is peace of mind and hope of allowance, forgiveness and deep healing, which is what our life journey is about.  Healing, remembering who we are and love.

This section is to help you uncover your excuses about why you’re "not allowed" to be take the steps towards wellness, and you may be surprised by some of what comes up.  As with all other steps on this journey, there is no right, wrong, or judgement, just what is, and the awareness of what is keeping you where you are is the first step towards choice of change.   Go deep. You’ll be surprised about what you can uncover. And when you have the awareness, you can clear it.

Step 1: Complete this sentence
I’M NOT ALLOWED TO CHOOSE                                     TOWARDS WELLNESS BECAUSE….
Some of the chooses could be around food, exercise, counselling, eating/not eating, drinking, organic vs non-organic etc.
Come up with as many excuses as possible. Don’t intellectualize it or start to rationalize each excuse. We know deep down they aren’t really true, but let your creative mind go wild so you can uncover new blocks to clear.

Here are some excuses that are often used by clients.
I need to lose weight first.
Organic is too expensive
My partner is already doing....
I’m a mama - it’s all about my kids now.
I need a good rags to riches story before I’m allowed to make money.
My skin is the wrong color.
I’m not pretty enough.
I don’t come from a wealthy family.
You need money to make money.
All successful entrepreneurs have family money to back them.
I'm terrible with numbers.
I’m left handed.
