Revealing the hidden you, the one you want to be.

For many people I know it has been a massive 6 months in so many good ways. The challenges are asking us to look at our values and beliefs and who/what we really want to be known for.  The world events, in the social, economic and natural disasters are asking us as individuals and collectively to get real. Get clear and stand up as to what we as individuals and in our society we want to stand for.  What is important to us and where we want to be in the future.

The bottom line is if we don't check in with who we truly want to be and act from this place, we will be drifting down a path to a place we may not want to be in a few years time. Do you want to be the frog in hot water, slowly adapting to hot water, or do you want to the be one in charge of the amount of heat in your own bath water? This applies to all aspects of life... health, lifestyle, relationships, career etc.  The same principles apply as you are working on your own core self and the ripple effect spreads through your life. 

Coming home after my mid life, European adventure I had to claim my place in my reality. Sure, I had read, attended coursed and explored thoughts and ways of reality hacking.  I have create all the good, and ugly and inbetweens to date, but I also knew that if i didn't take more control over my thoughts, desires and actions from the past and come to peace with them I was going to keep living a limited, scary life.  So, what can be done, without leaving the country to contemplate your hidden parts that want to come forth?

Take on the mode of a research scientist - 'let's investigate a thought and prove it either way.'
  • Explore the thought and the ripple effect it had at it moved through emotions, actions, and consequence.  Was the thought helpful, responsible, and in alignment with the person you choose to be?
  • Explore the originating thoughts, actions, experiences and who were the contributing people involved?  Is there something you need to say to them, to forgive or explain to them how that experience altered your life, for good or bad?
  • Be aware of who you hang out with - we are a collective reflection of the 5 people we spend the most time with.  When we change, friendships, relationships, and work places interactions change.  When things become a bit rough step back and ask how the hidden you wants to step up and be know for.
  • Get on with forgiving and letting go.  Tap, forgive, affirmations, anchors and visualisations. Get help or enrol in the many programs that are designed for this type of work.  The Journey, Mindvalley, Hay House are a few.
  • Work out the positive action that creates movement towards the person you want to be and take responsibility. If it is to be, it is up to me, and be the change you want to see. No one is responsible for you, as such. If you are reading this now, you are now an adult, so we need to be one. The blame game only keeps us small and in victimhood.  
  • Ask and seek help with the deep rooted issues that don't want to seen, but you know are driving choices you would rather not make.  There are so many deep modalities to help you get in deep and clean.
  • As Tony Robbins says "Take massive action" to the level that works for you.  At times you may need to jump in the deep in and make it happen, other times it will be about committing and creating a new habit.  Pain and discomfort are powerful motivators for change.
  • Learn the hidden you, and help bring them out. Use your imagination, and if you need help observe people whom you admire and have characters you want to grow into.  Dream you have these characteristics you choose to project.  You already have them inside, they only have been hiding for a while.  
  • Use creative visualisation to remind the hidden you of what it feels like, how you move, with whom interact, where you go, do, hold yourself. How are you walking, talking, deciding. What is your posture, interactions like.  What do you hear around you at the various places you are a? What does it feel like to be you? Who else is there? What type of recognition are you receiving that is reinforcing the inner goal of life - your life purpose.
  • Listen to and explore the subtle messages that life gives back to you.  Things are feeling a bit out of sorts, why?  Is the situation, the people, the action out of alignment who are really are or are you in transition and 'wearing in' the hidden you, just like new shoes need to be worn and molded to how your feet are and how you walk. If it is the getting used to process, work with it, warm it up and stimulate the process.  If you are working from the old you, explore if there is a situation, memory or emotion that is ready to be transformed to allow other emotions, more inline with the hidden you so this can blossom faster.    
  • When your body and mind is tired, it is could be telling you it needs to rest to allow the growth spurt of emotional and spiritual growth occur.  Just like babies who are growing at the speed of light, or so it seems, our growth also needs time out to recalibrate and sort through. The growth process is also creating new brain connections and most likely changing physiology, biochemistry and at time increasing toxic load in the short term as you release old limiting beliefs, actions and choices. So, give yourself permission to take time out, and not only at sleep time.  Take the 10 min cat nap; a walk in nature; a hot bath with epson salts; listen to great music that soothes the soul; great love making that soothes all parts of self; play, with kids and laugh deep belly laughs.  That is right do some pretty good self care to reinforce the hidden you that it is safe to come forth and show up, that you, will support and care the person you are evolving into.
  • Become diligent in eating, drinking and the type of lifestyle that supports and encourages a healthier you so the hidden you can present as the best self possible.  All things, including ourselves are vibration, and so what we eat, drink, put on our skin and are surrounded by changes our vibration.  What does the hidden you want to vibrate or be at?  High energy, loving, motivated etc.  To support this, we need to surround ourselves with this vibration.  So, when we are feeling down, flat etc,  explore your environment, your thoughts, people you are associating with and the situations that are presenting.  What can be removed, cleared or changed to keep you at the highest vibration possible.  Music, people, laughter, food, positive thoughts and the best - letting go and letting God. Do your part, but hand over and trust it will work out.  Forgive yourself, others and thank all for the lessons the life detour gave. ​
