ReclaimME!​

You have the power to heal.  All healing ultimately comes from within, not from outside experiences.
Experiences are the reflection of what you consciously and sub consciously
believe and the rules you live by.   

These beliefs and rules are both created and inherited during childhood, then reinforced throughout life.  They come from our family, and significant role models - school, friends, society, media, even games, rhymes, stories, legends etc influence our belief systems.   Humans are story makers, our conscious mind needs to make sense of what happens in our life and so when something or someone says, does or you see something that creates an emotional response - good, bad or ugly, our mind will create a story and give meaning to what you experience.  Like all good stories, there is a plot, a cause and effect and a reason why and of cause, how to either prevent it from happening again (unpleasant experiences), or to have more of the same (pleasant experiences). 

Still not sure what I am saying?  Consider the following scenarios and see if you relate to them:
  • Your classmates were playing together, but they didn't ask you to play with them, or they teased you.  You started to belief they didn't want you around and you are not good enough.
  • Your grades at school were not acknowledged, praised or you were compared to others and you belief you are  not 'smart enough'.
  • You grew up in a home with regular fighting, being ignored, or teased or worse abused.  You took on the idea you are not enough to get the love you needed as a child. We all have an innate need to be loved, cared for and encouraged. 
  • Family rules, society rules, religion rules etc told you "We don't do this or that." Often beliefs around money, relationships, ambition or anything that make you different or be talked about and keep you inline with the group.  What will the neighbours think, is another classic statement we heard growing up. 

The list is much, much longer than this, but you can hear your beliefs and rules by listening to your self talk.
  • What are the shoulds and should nots in your life, work, relationships, etc?
  • What do you hear yourself saying when you see something you would like to have or do, but is 'out of character' or different to when growing up?   This can be clothes, career, holidays, homes, lifestyle, putting yourself first, children, etc. 
  • You like someone, but you think they are 'out of your league', or you are not good enough and this stops any potential future before you give them a chance to get to know you. 
  • you want to branch out and experience more in life, but your family, friends, status quo hold you back and keep you feeling inadequate, not enough and not possible to go for what your heart is calling you towards. 
  • You feel anxious or depressed, but can't figure out why, after all, you "Have it all!!" but, do you?  Do you know yourself enough to say the mix of it all is the right mix for you?
  • You are being you, yet are button pushed/triggered by someone either saying or doing something and all of a sudden, you are reacting and not sure why.  This is your subconscious being reminded of something that created an unpleasant experience all those years ago.  More times you experience it, the deeper the wound becomes and more influential it is. 

By exploring, addressing and changing the hidden, knee jerk beliefs at the subconscious level you change your world.  Life comes from subconscious by dictating feelings, thoughts and behaviours
  • You experience Life that is happier, at more ease and more peace.
  • You experience the brighter side of life as you choose to live it, 
  • It becomes easier to create and attract experiences you enjoy.  Friendships, careers, adventures, health, finances etc, as you choose them to be.  
  • Your body becomes healthier, stronger, and more alive. 

When you flip limiting beliefs, from 
  • I'm not enough, good enough, pretty enough,
  • deserve to be punished, left alone, not worthy of being loved
  • life isn't safe, or I'm not safe,
  • Intense emotions such as guilt, shame, anger, helplessness, sadness, broken-hearted, anxiety, depression etc, or
  • Memory, thoughts or concept that hold you hostage to thinking, feeling and being small, under par or unwell.  

When you believe you enough!  good enough, pretty enough etc your world changes with you.  New opportunities are come your way. You see, feel and interact from an inner knowing and confidence that radiates from you.  You know you are safe, secure, capable, you are open to positive life and personal experiences. 

You hold yourself differently, you talk with more assurance and trust yourself more. 
People feel it, sense it, and see it. People notice your vibe and this is where the magic happens.

What is the alternative anyway?
All babies know they are worth being looked after and that they are gorgeous which is why they love being held and googled over.  It is unfortunate that by the time we get to adulthood, most of us have buried this innocent wonder along the way. 

The alternative then is to re-member what it feels like to be loved unconditionally (you did that from day dot); create a strong sense of self, create healthy boundaries and choose a stack of self love and care.  Sound too good to be true? I thought so too before I started my Inner Healing Journey and learnt a stack of tools and tricks along the way.

What most people don't realise is that your health is determined by your INNER SELF- your beliefs, fears, doubts and thoughts. I know this from experience, it was only when I worked on my inner beliefs transforming my insecure, wallflower self with anorexic tendencies into a self confident person who is looking after her self in every way.  

Now, it is about helping others reclaim themselves, to live from their healthy self belief, self love and self worth. When you have all these, it is so much easier to choose foods that work for your body, exercise for your interest and not to meet others expectations.  It becomes about you, what you choose, what works best for you!
